Pre-launch

What kind of day is today?

One honest answer every morning. Multi-sport, on your phone, built on training data your other apps don't quite finish writing down.

We'll email you once. No newsletter. No marketing. Or pre-order lifetime for $59.99 — first 500 only.

Olum — today's score on the home screen
Why we can be this accurate

Your apps have the full workout. Apple Health gets the leftovers.

A four-hour ride shows up without the route. A half marathon shows up without the heart rate. A strength session shows up as "Functional Training" — no sets, no weight. One rider's 354-calorie ride was logged as 2,492 in Apple Health. The data didn't disappear — the handoff dropped it. Olum sits in the middle of that handoff and catches every piece.

What makes the score sharp

The morning answer, done properly.

No social feed. No coach bot. No streaks. Just the score, the reasoning, and the numbers behind it.

The morning answer

One question a day. Should today be hard, easy, or off? One sentence of reasoning. The numbers behind it are one tap away. That's the screen.

Every source, one read

Five training apps today. More on the way. Olum reads them all so today's answer sees everything you did — not just what one watch caught.

It speaks every sport

Cycling reads as power. Running reads as pace. Lifting reads as weight and volume. Not just heart rate. Not just minutes. The answer reflects what you actually did.

On-device. Fully private.

Your daily answer is written by an on-device LLM. Your health data never leaves your phone. We don't see it because we don't have anywhere to put it.

Multi-source intelligence

One workout. Three recordings. One clean truth.

Your watch, your head unit, your phone — all three recorded this morning's session. Most apps leave you three duplicates and pick the worst one. Olum spots the overlap and asks: route from where, power from where, heart rate from where. The merged workout is the only one that survives.

  • Detects time-overlapping recordings automatically
  • Smart defaults — power from the device with a power meter, GPS from the device with the most points
  • One tap to override any pick
  • The merged workout writes to Apple Health; the duplicates are removed

The receipts

The loudest complaint is from cyclists. The same problem hits every sport.

Olum exists because of these threads. Real users, real frustration, no fix from the device makers. So we built it.

Apple Health integration is basically completely useless and false advertising.

Cyclist forum"Apple Health sync completely useless" · 2022

Any synced data is done wrongly. You're basically asking to add more garbage data on Apple Health.

Cyclist forum2021

My requests to Support are merely met with a "we have no timescale". I'm taking that as a euphemism for "we're not working on it". I've pretty much given up on them ever solving this.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

When does Olum launch?
We're in the validation phase. The plan: 3 weeks of pre-build validation (interviews, this landing page), then a 12-week build. If we hit our gates — 300+ waitlist signups and 30+ lifetime pre-orders — we ship in late summer 2026.
What does "founder pricing" actually mean?
The first 500 people who pre-order lifetime get it for $59.99. That price disappears the day we launch on the App Store. After that, lifetime is $79.99 for the first 5,000 buyers, then it goes away entirely. We don't plan to keep selling lifetime forever.
Does it actually fix the Apple Health sync?
Yes. Olum uses Apple's own `HKWorkoutBuilder` and `HKWorkoutRouteBuilder` APIs to write the data your devices drop on the floor — routes, power, cadence, accurate calories. Whether your activity came from a head unit, a watch, a third-party app, or a manual FIT file, it lands in Apple Health properly.
What about my data privacy?
Your health data never leaves your phone. The score and its reasoning are written by an on-device LLM — no cloud, no backend reading your workouts. The App Store privacy label says "Data Not Collected" because it's true.
What sports does it support?
Cycling, running, and strength get the full sport-aware treatment — power, pace, volume respectively. Swimming, walking/hiking, HIIT, rowing, yoga, and elliptical get proper logging with sport-appropriate metrics. Other activities are counted but don't get sport-specific UX.
Is there an Android version?
No, and not in the foreseeable future. Olum is iOS 17+ only. The HealthKit fix and on-device LLM that make Olum different are both Apple-specific. We'll consider Android after product-market-fit, but it'd be a different app, not a port.
What if it doesn't launch?
If validation fails — fewer than 300 signups or fewer than 30 lifetime pre-orders — we don't start the build, and lifetime pre-orders get refunded in full. You won't get charged for an app that doesn't ship.
